I was very tempted to make an anti-Valentine’s Day playlist starting off with I Don’t Need a Man by the Pussycat Dolls and closely followed by What the Hell by Avril Lavigne. But that just reeked of bitterness!
I got it all out of my system yesterday and am back to my usual sappy romantic self. In case you are still looking for something good to listen to today to set the mood, here are a few of my favorites.
A Kiss to Build a Dream on by Tony Bennett and K.D. Lang because you just can’t go wrong with Tony Bennett.
Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat because what could be better than falling in love with your best friend?
Come Away with Me by Norah Jones. This is the first song of hers that I heard, and I’ve been a huge fan ever since.
Let’s Do It, Let’s Fall in Love by Conal Fowkes. If I need to explain this one then maybe Valentine’s Day just isn’t your thing.
The Very Thought of You by Billie Holiday. I have like 20 versions of this song, but this is my favorite!
Hymne a L’amour by Josh Groban. Go Google the lyrics. Now. I’ll wait.
Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You by Lady Antebellum *Sigh*
Dream a Little Dream of Me by Michael Buble. I wouldn’t mind this kind of special delivery…
No Air by Jordin Sparks. If I could sing like this I would never shut up!
A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. So ridiculously romantic. – this is my new favorite love song!
What’s on your Valentine’s Day playlist?

I love those songs. I saw your post on Twitter about the anti-Valentine’s playlist…good to see you had a little change of heart (pun intended).
As for Pinterest sometimes I just have to get up from the computer or I will sit there all day pinning…seriously addictive stuff
Great playlist! I wish I had musical talent like the artists you picked! Enjoy your weekend!
I would add Paolo Conte to the list
