Easy Biscuit Doughnuts

The day after Christmas often comes as a bit of a let down…

The anticipation and magic of the big day is over, and suddenly you’re buried under a pile of torn wrapping paper and needing a bottle of aspirin.

I think it’s even worse for the kids, so to make the morning after not quite so blah, I love to make them a nice simple brunch.

Simple being the key word there. It doesn’t matter what else is on the table so long as I make some of these Easy Biscuit Doughnuts.

Your kids will think you’re a saint, and you can take a breather for a day!

Did you enjoy your holiday?

A great idea! Simple, sweet, fun. (But for me, a Tums — or two — is the answer before the big clean up today!)

I totally understand about the “anti-climax” after all the build-up for Christmas. I didn’t want to even step into the kitchen after all the baking and cooking I did before Christmas. These biscuit doughnuts look perfect. :) Now… onto New Year’s celebrations. :)

These sound delicious, and I love that they are easier, as most doughnuts intimidate me! I hope you had a wonderful Holiday weekend :) !

Jen…..what a SUPER idea! I’m with you! Not only do I NOT want to see the inside of a store for a month, the day after Christmas, I don’t want to do any cooking or baking either! I’d make an exception for these scrumptious things, though. Perfect with my morning coffee! : )
